I was looking through my client list and session plans today and it got me thinking about how varied my day is. From 5.30am- 9.30pm everyday I could be running, boxing, kickboxing, swimming or taking ski fit and core stability classes and in so many different environments.

Today I started in Kew training a lovely couple who’s aim is to run a 10k in march , we completed 5k, not bad before 6am!!, which puts them well on target to reach their goal. I later had a indoor gym session working on injury rehabilitation after a ski accident, the progress can be slow but necessary to get fit for the slopes next year. Then out to Hyde park for a kick boxing session with one of the fiercest ladies in Kensington, you know who you are!!

This got me thinking about how there really is an exercise to suit every person whether you re new to fitness training and want to achieve a new goal, a frustrated heliskier who dreams of being back on a mountain or a worryingly aggressive kickboxer in waiting!! There is always a level or method of training that can be catered for an individual or group.

Why not try something new…….

After a fantastic week in New York I was very much looking forward to hearing all the stories from the HHF Christmas party this year. I was lucky to escape highlighting my frailties in yoga and pilates.

Morning all!

After a fantastic week in New York I was very much looking forward to hearing all the stories from the HHF Christmas party this year. Although I was extremely disappointed to miss out Micheal’s well polished dance routines and generosity at the bar (once a year!) I was lucky to escape highlighting my frailties in yoga and pilates.

Due to adverse weather conditions I’ve decided not to ride my bike around London today as about 20 near death experiences yesterday has dampened my enthusiasm somewhat.

With this cold weather indoor sessions have become more popular and its only then you can realise how much you can do at home to keep yourself fit. All you need is a yoga mat and a Swiss ball and and you can have a safe, effective workout in the comfort and WARMTH of your own home. Check out some of the fitness tips given on the home page.

That just leaves me to say Happy Christmas everyone, look forward to catching up with you all in the new year!!

On this wet and rainy Monday morning I can’t help but cast my mind back to where I was this time last year, Byron Bay Australia in 35 degrees.

Morning!

On this wet and rainy Monday morning I can’t help but cast my mind back to where I was this time last year, Byron Bay Australia in 35 degrees. Don’t get me wrong I love my country and I enjoyed every second at the Oval this year watching our boys crush the Aussie middle order to regain the ashes, but when is the rain going to STOP!!

As I suspected the threat of the fit test this week brought about every illness, recurrence of old injuries and pretty much any other excuse you can think of. That said however, five new records were set and on the whole you guys posted the best scores I’ve seen. Which I find amazing due to the number of client lunches/dinners, Christmas parties and general festive activities revolving around the excessive consumption of alcohol, which of course I have been abstaining from….well mostly!

I’m off to New York on Wednesday for 5 days and after having watched Home Alone at the weekend to get me in the festive mood I’m really excited.

Will keep you posted on most of my goings on whilst I’m away.

Have a great week……

After a fairly lively weekend, to say the least!!, my 5am wake up was a bit more of a struggle than usual.
First session starts at 5.45am and after a warm welcome my day soon gathered momentum. Another good session brought with it the news of more weight loss making getting up worthwhile.
Chatted to my brother in Australia who gave me the great news that he’s just got engaged to his lovely girlfriend Anna and with them both moving back to London from Melbourne on friday, everyone including me is very excited.

Fit-tests are taking place this week so expecting to hear every excuse under the sun as to why they can’t do them. But they are always good fun, particularly with competitive couples. You know who you are haha!

Will keep you posted….
