Back in form at last

As I may have mentioned in previous blogs I have been having a enjoyable cricket season but have been in rubbish form with the bat myself. Well thankfully that has at last changed with a good midweek score and an even better score and result on the Saturday in the league. Some of my clients are mighty relieved  (L.I-W, J.V, R.V) about this as they are generally fed up with my complaining about various misfortunes. The weight plateau is defeated

Well done L.I-W, the plateau is at last defeated. After weeks of hard work and frustration, body fat reduction has begun again for a certain client. I decided to train my core on the morning of the game, which I don’t normally do, and I played much better in the afternoon. I doubt whether physiologically this helped my performance, but it probably did help mentally. I concentrated much better that’s is for sure. Personal training wise, with a couple of clients away this and next week not much to tell. L.I-W …

Sports massage boosts performance

Its been a long while since I had a sports massage which I used to do on a weekly basis to maintain mobility in a tired body. On Sunday evening though I had one of the best I’ve ever had from Amy. My lower back was fine, but upper back very stiff and tense, after a good hour and just to right ratio of pressure:pain I was feeling much better. The next morning I felt a bit like I had trained hard the day before, but when it came to …
