I had yet another great session today with Michael, lots of core exercises on the fitball and with medicine balls, cycling, Top XT, floor work outs, and the lot.
I think another good reason for having a trainer is that for the first time since I started my weight loss regime, I feel accountable to someone, other than my long suffering companion, my diet and fitness journals. I stayed the same weight last week but I’m OK. I had a great long Easter weekend, complete with hour plus work-out on my own on Good Friday and Easter Monday. I even managed to enjoy some Easter chocolates without guilt or more importantly, gaining weight.

I’m having one of those weeks where a combination of late nights, early starts (not helped by the clock going forward) and female hormones, have wrecked havoc on me. I’ve struggled through my 5 days of exercises. All I’ve wanted to do this week is simply lie in bed and rest, unfortunately life doesn’t really allow that!

This week, I don’t care what I weigh. Yep, I mean that most sincerely…or maybe not!
I’ve worked very hard this week with both my food and exercise. I’ve achieved physical feats with my trainer Michael beyond my wildest expectations. My clothes are hanging off me and I can spot some changes in my body. My monthly inches measurements have also revealed some losses. This week I won’t obsess too much what the scale says.
But it’s good news on the scale…

I had a great session this morning with Michael and once again, we successfully did an exercise that I didn’t think that I would be able to do in a million years.
We concentrated today on fitball exercise. A couple of weeks ago, we tried to get me on the fitball balancing the fitball on my tummy, with legs suspended in mid-air and my hands supporting me. OK, the technical name fails me but you get the picture. I couldn’t do it. It seemed like a physical impossibility.
