Tearing My Hair Out!!!

Warning: This is probably not the best blog to read if you’re easily offended by language or looking for some happy thoughts. I figure, we’re all adults here, or should be, and more importantly, my blog, my thoughts.
So after the elation of reaching the 5 stones, the next week, I lost a further 2 pounds. However disaster struck! In just 9 days from Saturday 17th July, I gained 5 pounds back, that is 2.3 Kg. WTF!! It is totally pointless deluding myself if the weight gain has been my fault …

Pathetic Pills Now Available from Michael White at HomeHealth Fitness Ltd!

Another great couple of weeks working out with Michael.
We’ve done all sorts, boxing for the first time with me standing on my crutches instead of our usual seated position, very hard and challenging; working out with the fitball on wet grass, wild winds and light rain, and throwing balls; trying to hit make-shift cricket stumps which was just another excuse for cricket obsessed Michael to try and convince me that his favourite game isn’t just the dullest ever.

Five Stone Weight Loss – Riding the Blues.

My apologies for neglecting my blog. It’s been a difficult couple of weeks on a personal level, but also with my weight loss with inexplicably weight gain and plateau. But the clouds have lifted and it’s all good in the hood.
The first good news is that I’ve today FINALLY (!!) lost exactly 32 kg, 70.4 lbs, 5.03 stones since my weight loss quest which started end of August 2008. I’m mega chuffed and grateful to all. This is a marathon and not a sprint. I still have a long way …

Not all bad news though, the good news is that I soldiered on and didn’t allow the weight-gain to derail my weight loss efforts and even better news is that the …

Successful Saturday weigh-in

I’ve lost 3.3 pounds (1.5kg) this week and I’m utterly chuffed!
Another great week of work-out with Michael with our Thursday session outside in the sunshine. Cue, sun lotions (mine not his), sunglasses (guilty as charged) and ample opportunities for Michael to take the mickey  – pun intended:-)
