Sports massage boosts performance

Its been a long while since I had a sports massage which I used to do on a weekly basis to maintain mobility in a tired body. On Sunday evening though I had one of the best I’ve ever had from Amy. My lower back was fine, but upper back very stiff and tense, after a good hour and just to right ratio of pressure:pain I was feeling much better. The next morning I felt a bit like I had trained hard the day before, but when it came to my normal Monday row in the gym I rowed as well as I have for a long time. Needless to say I will be making massage a regular occurance again. Its important to look after ourselves after all and lets face it, its rather pleasant.
