Personal training all over London is good fun and certainly more interesting than session after session in a gym. However, traffic is a nightmare and therefore keeping to a fairly busy diary is also tricky. The whole point is for the sessions to be convenient for the client and thus we must fit in around them, not always easy with most people wanting the peak times (6am-9am and 6pm-9pm). Sessions must also be specific to the individual and their goals, constant changes to sessions are good, but it is important to be aware that people generally resist change and some prefer the same session content each time. Discussing session content openly with the client is the answer, are they happy? would they like change? if so what do they prefer in a session. Still, at least we generally have time to think of these things whilst travelling between sessions.
