What’s the name of the game?

25 March 2010 400 views 2 Comments

I had a great session this morning with Michael and once again, we successfully did an exercise that I didn’t think that I would be able to do in a million years.

We concentrated today on fitball exercise. A couple of weeks ago, we tried to get me on the fitball balancing the fitball on my tummy, with legs suspended in mid-air and my hands supporting me. OK, the technical name fails me but you get the picture. I couldn’t do it. It seemed like a physical impossibility.

Today, our 3rd try, achieved this position and we were able to do a bunch of exercises. For fear of sounding like an excitable teenager, OMG!!!! Needless to say, we were both pretty chuffed!

Working out with Michael is exactly what I wanted in a trainer. Someone who challenges me to do the seemingly impossible, who keeps things interesting, fresh, exciting…I would gush some more but I fear he might read this and his head might expand beyond the dodgy hair-cut he’s currently sporting!

Oh, and the name of the game? Perseverance.

I have to say, every time I come to homehealthfitness.com you have another remarkable article up to read. A friend of mine was telling me about this topic a few weeks ago. I think I’ll e-mail them the url here and see what they say.
