Paradox
I’m happy with my weight loss this week. I’ve only lost 0.66 pounds this week, but I’ve actually lost 5.5 pounds. Say what? Let me explain.
You know when people say that they only need to look at certain foods to gain weight? Welcome to my world. If I dared to eat bad carbs, I gain excessive weight. This Monday, following my celebratory weekend away, (where I chose to take a break from my regime), I had gained 4.84 pounds.
This sort of excessive weight gain tends to happen to me when I eat things that include sugar, flour, chocolates etc. especially in the evening. The excessive weight gain would usually go away relatively quickly, usually in a week.
This week has been about getting rid of the gain. I am therefore pleased to have gotten rid of the gain, plus an additional 0.66 pounds.
The week has also been a week of personal achievements with my trainer Michael. I am totally happy with my week.
