It was a wet cold and depressing Bank Holiday weekend so when the scruffy weather presenter on the breakfast show promised some sunshine today it lifted my spirits and then Michael arrived. Of course he is like a vibrant beam of sunshine no matter what time of year. That may sound a little sarcastic but I promise you that is not my style. He always projects rays of positive light unless of course he either can not play cricket or they lost !

The session was good as per usual one day he has to be under the weather or something surely? Our normal run was minus the constant stream of school children and parents on their way to the local schools but the old gentleman we see was there with his cheery good morning and keep going  comments! Plus the awful smell that wafts up from some sort of hedgerow when it has been particularly wet. For ages I thought it was Michael’s trainers but he has a new pair now so I know it is not ! Then back home to box and use the fitness ball . Lets hope this is the beginning of summer at last.
