Following my rant yesterday, Michael suggested that we played music in today’s session to lift my mood and for the first time, we worked out with music playing. I love music. Working out with music and singing along, is probably my idea of bliss – yep, I should get out more!
The session was fast paced, varied, exciting and great fun. My polar watch recorded one of my highest heart rate 176 (!!!), burning 554 calories with 40 % fat in our hour session. Just what the doctor ordered.

We all seem to be short of time these days and in my experience that is the most common excuse for not exercising. So why not condense your cardio workout into your weights one by eliminating rest. Start every session you do with a 10 minute row of gradually increasing intensity. Then go straight to your first weights station and complete your first set.
